Biography

Keith's 'no nonsense' approach to that age-old mystery 'Is there life after death' was established during his 20 years experience working alongside some of the most respected and bestknown spiritual mediums in the United Kingdom. Mediums such as Gordon Higginson, President of the Spiritualist National Union, and the late, great, British spiritualist, Doris Stokes. Michael Yamamoto, founder and president of Japan SP Institute, says of him: "Keith is very gifted and sincere."

Known for his forthright views and his direct approach to a subject, Keith attracts thousands of curious and fascinated people to his yearly tours in Britain and abroad. A man whose gifted stage presence has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. To see him 'in action' is to be entertained as well as informed. His enormously humorous style, and detailed presentation of information is simply riveting.

How does he do it?
Keith describes himself as a human telephone link between this world and the next. "Because of my police training I've always looked for hard evidence from the spirits for them to prove who they are. I ask them how they died, the day they died, the number of the house they lived in, the number of people in their family, the names of their brothers and sisters, small personal details that prove who they really are. It may be entertaining to those looking on in one of my theatre shows, but I don't see that what I do as entertaining. Nor myself as an entertainer. Just a psychic communicator telling about life after death.

Keith Charles joined the Metropolitan Police at 17. After his training at Hendon Police College, he went to Cannon Row, in central London, where his duties ranged from guarding Prime Ministers at 10 Downing Street, members of the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace, to walking the late Queen Mother round her beautiful garden. During his 32 years, Keith was assigned to the Fraud Squad, Hotel Burglary Squad and Murder Squads. He has investigated all manner of crimes from indecency to aggravated assaults. He is probably Britain's foremost psychic detective. Police and investigators on both sides of the Atlantic call in Keith to help them with information from a very unusual source, the spirit world. Keith's clairvoyant ability cannot be explained. They mystify some people, whilst others are inspired. What is for sure is that Keith can divine things through a spiritual technique that is not available to most of us. And for those who want to know more about this technique, then his recent best-selling paperback book, PSYCHIC DETECTIVE demonstrates how he brings his extraordinary gift to bear on some of the most enduring mysteries of our time.

What they say
Keith Charles has earned the respect of British celebrities as diverse as actor William Roache, actress Jenny Seagrove and international author Leigh Taylor-Young. Singer Ricky Valence says: "What shook me was the kind of detail Keith was able to produce. Canadian investigator Mike King says, "I rate his psychic abilities as the best there is - anywhere." Keith Charles was featured on Granada Television in the film entitled 'The Real Life of the Psychic Detective', which followed Keith to Buffalo, in the USA, where he assisted the police department. He has featured on many British television programmes, including 'Esther', 'Kilroy', 'Richard & Judy' and 'Sky Sports'. Interviews with top radio personalities such as Steve Wright, Nicky Campbell, Johnny Walker and David Hamilton have been well received. Regular radio slots included Mercury and Liberty. During one appearance on Talk Radio, London, Keith's accuracy was so stunning the switchboard was jammed with callers! There have been many accolades from the press, too, including 'Psychic News' which has written that Keith gives … 'undeniable proof!'

Personal Tragedy

Keith's son, Mathew, was tragically killed in a road traffic accident in 1994. It was the one point in his life when Keith openly says he thought about 'giving it all up', putting his psychic work to oneside. Mathew changed that. His spirit linked with his father to tell him that he must carry on to help thousands of others who found themselves bereaved in similar circumstances. "I continue to get great comfort from knowing that Mathew is always alongside me, working with me," says Keith.
